Plus Modified set: With a RWRP Mid and hotter Blues Bridge
for the demands of the modern player. Capture the sound of
60's pre CBS Strats. Clean sounding with a bit more mid range
and push than the True Vintage set. Still retains the chimey
tones - just a bit warmer, great articulation, string-to-string
definition and "quack" in the in-between 2 and 4 switch positions.
Great for country, classic blues, rock-a-billy, Americana
and alt/roots rock. The Vintage Plus set is wound 5 to 10%
increase in windings over the True Vintage set and still retains
the unmistakable smooth, vintage sound.
This
is a custom set of 3; matched True Vintage neck and mid with
a Blues bridge, middle pickup is RWRP for hum-canceling in
2 and 4!
